Unterföhring-based broadcast service provider SmartCast is expanding its international business with the launch of Farsi Face, a new channel for the Persian TV market.
FarsiFace is broadcast via the Eutelsat Hot Bird 13 degrees East position, addressing Persian TV viewers in core markets including Iran and Europe.
SmartCast provides national and international broadcast services to digital broadcasters, with more than 50 national and international digital TV channels using their play out services in Unterföhring near Munich.
“SmartCast is currently working intensively on the development of its decentralized, international network playout,” said MD Jens Leidenberger, in a statement. “We will soon take additional playout facilities in operation. We expand the space segment and offer our customers even shorter supply signal paths. This provides greater flexibility in station operation and create enormous savings. ”
