The Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska ended 2010 with around 740,000 TV subscribers, of whom over 141,700 received its digital cable or IPTV services.
Its digital TV subscriber base grew by 34% during the year.
Revenues from the TV sector amounted PLN279.1 million (€70.07 million), up 6% on 2009, while those in the fourth quarter rose by 2% year-on-year to PLN70.7 million.
Multimedia Polska’s internet subscriber total at the end of 2010 meanwhile stood at 363,000, over 12% more than a year earlier, with revenues amounting to PLN148.1 million (+13%).
The number of VoIP and PSTN subscribers at year’s end stood at 110,200 and 114,800 respectively.
Multimedia Polska, which is Poland’s third largest cable operator after UPC and Vectra, had sales revenues of PLN567.2 million in 2010 (+8% on a year earlier).
Its EBITDA was PLN300.8 million (+13.5%) and net income PLN82.6 million (+29%).
