The Russian commercial broadcaster CTC Media has posted strong results for 2010. At the same time, it has announced that it expects its total operating revenues to rise by 20% in rouble terms this year.
The company, whose backers includes MTG, had total revenues of $222,231,000 (€160.867,000) in Q4, or 23% more than in the corresponding period in 2009. Those for the full year, at $601,285,000, were meanwhile 19% up on 2009.
OIBDA was $104,358,000 (+19%) in Q4 and $220,854,000 (+35%). Net income amounted to $75,329,000 (+261%) in Q4 and $145,731,000 (+45%) for the full year.
CTC Media operates the TV channels CTC, Domashny and DTV, as well as Channel 31 in neighbouring Kazakhstan.
