The Croatian incumbent telco T-HT has strengthened its position as the leading provider of IPTV services in the Central and East European region.
Results published by the company show that it ended 2010 with 297,496 IPTV subscribers, or 26.1% more than a year earlier.
Its ADSL line total meanwhile rose by 13.4% year-on-year to 629,228, and internet revenues by 19.1% to HRK1,368 million (€188 million).
T-HT’s overall financial performance in 2010 was nevertheless affected by the recession and special taxes, with revenues down by 1.7% to HRK8,375 million, reported EBITDA slightly below the 2009 level at HRK3,662 million and net profits down by 9.5% to HRK1,831 million.
T-HT operates the IPTV service MAXtv. However, it also owns, through its subsidiary Iskon, another IPTV platform named Iskon.TV.
