The Slovak DTH platform Magio Sat plans to add several more channels to its offer.
Quoting the company’s spokesman Andrej Gargulák, Zive reports that the next channel to join the platform will be the Czech version of National Geographic Channel. At present, Magio Sat distributes the Hungarian language version.
HBO HD and Fashion TV and are also expected to join the platform shortly.
Magio Sat is operated by the Deutsche Telekom-backed incumbent telco T-Com and currently distributes around 40 mostly Czech and Slovak language channels.
Magio Sat was launched in January 2010 and operates in a DTH market also served by Skylink, CS Link, Digi TV and UPC Direct.
