The Croatian incumbent telco T-HT’s subsidiary Iskon has reached an agreement with Warner Bros.
Under it, subscribers to Iskon’s IPTV service Iskon.TV will be able to enjoy the latest film titles from the major immediately after their theatrical release, paying KN15 (€2.02) per title for a 24-hour period.
The deal follows only days after the launch of Iskon.TV player, a new service that allows Iskon.TV viewers to watch TV programmes on PCs and mobile devices connected to the internet via WiFi or T-Mobile’s 3G network.
In its test phase, which will run until May 2, Iskon.TV player is offering Iskon.TV subscribers six TV channels – HTV1, HTV2, RTL, 24 sata, CMC and Baby TV – as well as and EPG an access to a video store for no additional charge.
