The Polish national transmission company TP Emitel is attracting interest from at least four potential buyers.
Gazeta Prawna reports that that they will be required to lodge bids by the end of this month, with the sale price likely to be in the range of PLN800 million (€204.8 million) to over PLN1 billion.
France’s TDF, which already has stake in a smaller Polish transmission company named Polskie Siecie Nadawcze (PSN) and Innova Capital have emerged as the favourites, with other possible suitors including EQT and Advent.
TP Emitel owns the vast majority of transmitters in Poland and is playing a key role in the country’s transition to digital broadcasting.
