AETN International, a division of A&E Television Networks, has appointed Ellen Lovejoy as senior director, International Content Sales.
Based in New York, Lovejoy will assume her role in the spring and will report directly to Ian Jones, MD, International Content Distribution & Commercial Development. Working with Jones, Lovejoy will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for AETN’s programmes. She will also work on managing the licensing of AETN programming for off-network exhibition on television and other broadcast platforms in various territories, including Australia and New Zealand.
Lovejoy joins AETN from Target Entertainment, where she serves as SVP sales & programming, overseeing licensing to the US, Canada and Latin America, and programme acquisitions from the Americas for international distribution.
Prior to this she worked at Beyond Distribution, Mayfair Entertainment and Internet Securities.
