Belgian cable operator Telenet has launched Prime Golf, a dedicated golf channel as part of its Prime Sport premium multiplex. The operator also added two international news channels to its basic digital tier, CCTV News (China) and Russia Today.
Prime Golf will broadcast all major tournaments including the US Masters, US Open, The Open and the PGA Championship), the European Tour, the US PGA Tour and the World Golf Championships. Prime Golf is the third premium sports channel of the operator, the other two are Prime Sport 1 and Prime Sport 2.
Telenet has also launched the Xite music channel as part of the basic digital package. Meanwhile, MTV Rocks has replaced TMF Dance.
