Ericsson has been selected by Singapore’s MediaCorp to enable and manage the latter’s new over-the-top service via broadband connection to their customers.
Under the terms of the deal, Ericsson will supply, integrate, manage and operate the complete end-to-end solution over a five-year period.
MediaCorp is Singapore’s leading media organisation, with interests spanning TV (seven channels), radio (13 stations), print, movies, digital and out-of-home media. They include the pan-regional news channel Channel NewsAsia.
The contract is Ericsson’s first managed deal with a media company in Asia.
