Metrological Media Innovations has announced that Walter Blom and Paul Römer have been appointed to the company’s advisory team.
The Metrological advisory team has recently been established with the intent to support the company’s executive management with expert advice relating to all aspects of the media entertainment ecosystem.
Walter Blom is currently CFO and member of the Board of Catalpa Holding and acted as CFO at Ziggo, until March 2010. Having overseen the whole process of merging Casema, @Home and Multikabel into one single company , Blom is widely considered to be the financial architect behind the creation of the largest Dutch cable company.
Paul Römer, an independent media professional, acted as CCO and member of the board of Endemol until October 2010. Römer was one of the co-creators of Endemol’s flagship TV format, the reality show “Big Brother” and served as executive producer for the series’ original showing in the Netherlands and the subsequent US version.
