The Polish DTH platform Cyfra+ has noted a 30%+ increase in sales of VOD titles so far this year.
Its on demand service Cyfra+ VOD introduced a number of price cuts on January 1. As a result, premieres now cost PLN9 (€2.3) in SD and PLN12 in HD to rent for a period of up to 48 hours, while catalogue hits cost PLN6 and serial clips PLN3.
Cyfra+ VOD sources content from a number of companies including Paramount Pictures, The Walt Disney Company, Sony Pictures and several independent producers.
It will add more titles to its offer from the first week of February.
