The Polish alternative telco Netia plans to roll out TV services on a wide scale this year.
In a statement outlining its strategy to the year 2020, the company added that it plans to increase the number of packages it offers, thanks largely to the sale of multi-play.
Investment, including the construction of a NGA network, will be most intense in the years 2011-13, being under 15% of its annual revenues, falling back to 10-12% in subsequent years.
Netia is currently undertaking TV trials in the cities of Wroclaw and Torun. Its main target is to become the leading provider of online services in Poland by 2020.
The telco also plans to expand through the acquisition of – amongst others – Dialog, another leading Polish alternative telco.
