Hungary ended last November with 1,879,000 fixed broadband internet subscriptions, according to data produced by the country’s National Media and Telecommunications Authority (NMHH).
XDSL accounted for 802,330 and cable 728,797 of the total, while the number of broadband subscriptions via DOCSIS 3.0 stood at 70,632 and the total number via FTTx 207,594.
The number of subscriptions with bandwidth in excess of 30 Mbps continues to grow steadily, accounting for 16.0% of high-speed internet subscriptions in November, up from 15.4% a month earlier.
