The Lithuanian incumbent TEO LT’s digital terrestrial service Digital GALA TV is now available in almost the entire country.
This follows the installation of two additional transmitters, bringing the total number in operation to 30.
Digital GALA TV offers up to 40 channels, with viewers living in and within a 50km radius of Kaunas and the capital, Vilnius, also being able to receive the HD services Eurosport HD, Discovery HD Showcase and National Geographic Channel HD.
It ended Q3 2010 with over 58,000 subscribers, while Interactive GALA TV, its sister IPTV operation, had over 63,000.
