Robert Dunn, managing director of UPC Ireland since 2006, has taken over the role of Diederik Karsten as managing director of UPC Netherlands.
Karsten has replaced Gene Musselman as managing director, European broadband operations, at Liberty Global.
It is a return to Amsterdam for Dunn, who was at Liberty Global (LGI) managing director, finance and accounting and then CFO of UPC Broadband from 2000 to 2006.
Dunn’s first major job as managing director in Ireland was the merger of two cable companies, NTL and Chorus, to UPC Ireland. He has also made efforts to improve customer service and the cable network.
Robert Dunn is originally from Glasgow, Scotland. He began his career at Price Waterhouse in London, where he trained as a chartered accountant. And the Dutch press release mentions that “Robert Dunn like cycling to work.”
