The Polish National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) has announced a tender for four TV channels on the country’s first DTT multiplex.
The multiplex, which has yet to be fully launched, is currently carrying the public broadcaster TVP’s three main channels (TVP2, TV2 and TVP Info) and has enough capacity for 7-8 SD channels.
In a statement, the KRRiT said that satellite broadcasters or entities that secure satellite broadcasting licences will be able to take part in the tender.
Poland’s second and third DTT multiplexes were launched this autumn.
