Russia’s Comstar-Regions has acquired a 100% stake in Novosibirsk Multiservice Company (NMC), a leading alternative operator in the Novosibirsk region, from a group of private investors for R725 million (€17.9 million).
NMC provides triple play services under the CityHomeNet brand and covers around 247,000 homes, all of which are FTTB-based.
The leading cable TV operator and one of the top broadband providers in the region, it currently has around 71,000 cable TV, and 41,000 broadband internet subscribers, along with 500 fixed-line corporate customers.
The fee paid by Comstar-Regions, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Comstar-UTS, includes debts of R7.54 million.
