German cable operator Kabel BW is adding three more HD channels to its extended HD tier Mein TV HD. Fox HD, National Geographic Channel HD and Planet HD will be added this month.
The extended tier now comprises of ten channels and costs €9.90 a month. The other channels of the tier are Sport1+ HD, Syfy HD, TNT Film HD, TNT Serie HD, MTVN HD, Classica HD and Deluxe Lounge HD. The adult Penthouse HD channel can be added as an a la carte option and costs an additional €5 monthly.
The total HD line-up of the cabler is 27 channels, which the operator claims is the widest offer of HD channels in the country.
People who subscribe to the new extended HD tier before December 31 will receive the HD cable tuner free of rental charge (normally €2.00 a month or €129 in retail).
