Two leading Croatian broadcasters are preparing to launch more channels.
MPortal reports that RTL Televizija will give a debut to RTL 2 by or before January 2. An entertainment-based service, it will be distributed digitally on the country’s second multiplex, as well as probably cable and IPTV.
RTL Televizija already broadcasts RTL Plus and has plans to launch a kids channel named RTL Dice.
Meanwhile Nova TV, the commercial station operated by CME, plans to launch a new women’s channel named Doma TV.
Aimed at a female audience, it is expected to launch around Christmas and also have carriage on the second multiplex, as well as on cable and DTH.
