Serbia Broadband (SBB) has launched a suite of transactional VOD and subscription VOD services to its subscribers in Serbia and Slovenia.
The services are being offered jointly with the TV VOD aggregator On Demand Group and include blockbuster and classic movies, popular TV series, top comedy, drama, documentaries, kids programming and music videos.
SBB is the leading cable operator in Serbia and also distributes the DTH platform Total TV, both in its home market and other parts of the former Yugoslavia. It is majority owned by Mid Europa Partners (MEP) and the EBRD.
On Demand Group is meanwhile a subsidiary of SeaChange International and lists Virgin Media (UK), SFR Neuf (France), OTE (Greece) and TTNET (Turkey) among its clients.
