The Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat is to begin promoting its new 4G ultra-fast internet service from tomorrow (December 1).
Employing LTE (Long Term Evolution) technology, it will allow for access speeds of up to 150 Mbps.
Wirtualne Media reports that the service, which will make its full debut in Q1 next year, will be offered free of charge to the first 10,000 customers for the first six months.
The service will be operated by Mobyland and CenterNet, both of which, like Cyfrowy Polsat, are backed by Zygmunt Solorz-Zak.
Cyfrowy Polsat already has an internet access service, employing HSPA/MIMO technology, that had 15,000 subscribers as of Q3 this year.
