The Slovak IPTV service Magio, which is operated by the incumbent telco T-Com, will add a further 13 channels to its offer on December 1, bringing the total to 94. It will also introduce a new premium package offering Hungarian channels.
The new channels include MGM, Universal Channel, Viasat Nature, Fishing & Hunting, Da Vinci Learning and Fine Living Network.
Subscribers will in addition be offered the leading Slovak station Markiza in HD, along with ESPN America. The Hungarian package will meanwhile consist of eight channels – M1, M2, Duna TV, RTL Klub, 4! Story, Magyar ATV, Cool TV and TV2) – and be made available for €1.95 a month, with the first two months offered for free.
Magio will also change the name of its music and kids package to MIX1 on December 1.
Furthermore, it plans to add the channels Cult Movie Network, Wild TV and the Hungarian Hir TV and (exclusively) Life Network to its offer in Q1 2011.
