The recently launched international channel Mediaset Italia is to be made available in Romania.
The news was given to Mediafax by Anda Manza, senior sales manager at Chello Networks, which will be responsible for distributing the service.
Mediaset Italia is operated by Silvio Berlusconi’s Mediaset and will initially be offered in Italian. However, if there is sufficient interest in the service it will be localised into Romanian.
There is as yet no indication of which platforms in Romania will distribute Mediaset Italia, which offers a mixture of programmes from the Mediaset terrestrial channels Canale 5, Italia 1 and Rete 4.
