Poland’s leading DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat is to make its first foray into delivering content over the internet.
According to Gazeta Prawna, it was been working on a number of internet projects, the first of which will make its debut shortly. Known as CatchUp TV, it will, as its name suggests, allow subscribers to watch programmes over the internet that have already been broadcast by Cyfrowy Polsat over the past few days.
Cyfrowy Polsat is also engaged in talks with rights holders ahead of the launch of a new service known as Cyfrowy Polsat Online.
Furthermore, it plans to launch an internet access service employing LTE technology in Q1 next year.
