The Sky EPG slot owned by Film24 has been acquired by Sony Pictures Television (SPT). Since Film24 went into liquidation in June, channel 157 had been managed by Canis Media, showing a mix of teleshopping and classic US television to keep the slot open.
It has been a tremendous pleasure to assist both the previous owners of Film 24 and SPT to ensure this transfer took place in a timely and managed fashion and we are delighted to bring an SPT-owned channel to our list of managed channels,” said Canis chief executive Ed Hall.
Canis will manage the channel until SPT assumes day-to-day operations in early 2011.
