The Russian cable operator Multiregion ended the third quarter with 620,000 pay-TV and 266,000 broadband internet subscribers.
Its homes passed figure meanwhile stood at around 1.8 million.
The figures are contained in the latest results published by MTS, which acquired Multiregion in July for a fee of $123.5 million (€90.8 million) plus debts of $84.4 million.
In the results, MTS says: “figures for Multiregion may change moving forward as MTS aligns household and subscriber definitions among its subscribers.”
Aside from Multiregion, MTS had 2,028,000 pay-TV subscribers for its Comstar-UTS operations as of the end of September, a 6.8% reduction on the same period in 2009.
