Two former Omneon executives have been given key roles by Harmonic in a reorganisation of the combined company’s sales and marketing teams. Geoff Stedman, who ran the marketing function at Omneon before its acquisition by Harmonic in September, will take on responsibility for corporate branding, demand generation and all of the company’s outbound marketing activities, in addition to continuing to lead the marketing function for the Omneon portfolio of products and solutions.
David Price, who previously ran Harmonic’s marketing communication function, will remain with the company as vice president of business development.
Mark Carrington, who had been serving as vice president of service and support for Harmonic, will be assuming the role of vice president of sales, leading the sales of Harmonic-branded products. Matt Aden, who previously held the role, is leaving the company for personal reasons.
Ron Howe, who was in charge of Omneon’s customer service organisation, is taking on an expanded role within the combined company.
In a statement Patrick Harshman, President and CEO of Harmonic, said the company was fortunate to be able to draw on the expertise of the combined management teams.
