The Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska ended the third quarter with over 127,000 digital cable and IPTV subscribers, or 30% more than a year earlier.
Its triple play subscriber total at the end of Q3 stood at 97,000, up 15% on a year earlier, while the double play subscriber total rose by almost 8% year-in-year to 225,000.
Customer on average took 1.91 services (1.79 in Q3 2009) and the RGU (revenue generating unit) total as of the end of September stood at 1.31 million, up by 107,000 on a year earlier.
Multimedia Polska, which is the third largest cableco in Poland after UPC and Vectra, had sales revenues of PLN141.6 million (€36.1) in Q3, up 7% on the same quarter in 2009.
Consolidated EBITDA amounted to PLN73.5 million (+10%) and its profit stood at PLN19 million (21%). ARPU meanwhile rose from PLN63.7 in Q3 2009 to PLN67.0 in the third quarter this year.
