Deutsche Telekom has posted net revenues of €15,601 million for the third quarter, a 4.1% reduction on the same period last year.
Domestic operations accounted for €6,783 million (down by 5.8% on last year) and international €8,818 million. As of September 30, 2010, a total of 1.4 million Entertain packages had been sold to Telekom’s IPTV service. The 1,042,000 subscribers were up from 971,000 in June and 678,000 a year ago.

EDITDA amounted to €4,761 million (-11.7%), while net profit stood at €1,035 million (+7.9%).
Telekom notes that its IPTV operations in Central and Eastern Europe are booming and has confirmed its guidance for the full year following the Q3 results. Excluding the effects of the joint venture in the UK, it expects to generate adjusted EBITDA of approximately €20 billion and free cash flow of at least €6.2 billion. IPTV subscribers outside of Germany now stand at 571,000 from 339,000 in September 2009, a 34% increase with Croatia and Slovakia the principal drivers.
Commenting on the results, the company’s CFO Timotheus Höttges said: “we have come through the crisis in good shape and even succeeded in improving our KPIs”.
