The repackaging of its Triple Play services as the HomeTrio has helped Denmark’s TDC increase the number of TV RGUs by 6.8%.
In addition to the TDC TV IPTV platform, launched in February 2007, the Danish telco also runs the YouSee cablenet. TDC TV more than doubled its subscribers to 116,000 at the end of September. The YouSee Clear and YouSee Plus packages also piled on the RGUs, ending the period with 1,180,000 and 155,000 respectively.
At the same time, TDC has seen its lowest domestic copper line loss in more than two years. The 32,000 quarterly decline was the lowest since Q1 2008 and follows a period of active churn management and new price plans.
