Dutch cable operator Ziggo has selected the Miriate system from Mirifice to automate conformance testing of set-top boxes and interactive digital televisions. Test automation reduces operational costs and improves the resulting device and service reliability.
Andrew Barker, CEO of Mirifice said in a statement: “We are delighted to win Ziggo as a new customer and look forward to working with them to automate their consumer device and service testing.”
Miriate performs tests as a human would, ensuring existing manual tests can be automated, but runs the tests faster, more reliably, consistently and without getting bored or tired.
Miriate has advanced features such as video analysis, motion detection, region comparison, and optical character recognition (OCR) that are critical in automating the majority of tests, as they replace the need for manual recognition and verification. Miriate’s 24/7 availability, remote access, test scheduling and multiple test concurrency capabilities ensure high productivity with minimal manual intervention.
