Advanced services were the key to a revenue rise of 3.9% for Israeli DTH platform Yes. The satcaster accrued revenues of NIS 395 million (€78.53m) after increased sales on the yes Max PVR, yes MaxHD and VOD service yes MaxTotal.
Subscriber numbers also grew by 1.4% year-on-year to 575,000 subscribers as of September 30, 2010, up 8,000 subscribers from one year ago and 2,000 subscribers on the quarter. ARPU of NIS 229 was up by an annual increase of 2.2%.
Operating profit increased to NIS 72m, an increase of 18.3% on Q3 2009, leading to a fall in its net loss of 11.4% year-over-year to NIS 78m.
The financial position was aided by the end of a cable usage agreement with rival HOT.
