The Russian cableco Akado has reached an agreement with a regional network operator named ProektSvyazTelekom. As a result, it will be able to offer a full range of its digital TV services to 5,000 of the latter’s subscribers, located in Grad Moskovsky in the Moscow region.
In Moscow, these services already consist of over 200 digital channels, 13 of which are in HD, and include channels from the DTH platform NTV-Plus.
Akado has recently been pursuing a strategy of expanding its presence to regional towns, such as Domededovo, close to Moscow.
