IP & TV Forum – ISTANBUL. The Croatian company Iskon It has unveiled ambitious plans for the future that include the possible launch of multiroom and making its TV service available on PCs and smartphones.
According to Sasa Kramar, Iskon’s CEO, the company launched its IPTV operation 18 months ago with a view to integrating it with telephony, internet, VOD, time shifting and additional features. Its next move will be to provide it on three screens.
He added that Iskon had begun to offer is IPTV customers YouTube via their set-top boxes a month ago. This had proved a huge success, with 35% accessing the service and each of these subscribers watching over 10 videos.
The company is now thinking of ways in which it can become an OTT provider.
