Turner Broadcasting has secured an AVOD (advertising video on demand) deal with the Russian online professional video portal and syndication network Tvigle.
Under it, Adult Swim will be made available to subscribers of Tvigle in a specially branded “room” consisting of 30 episodes at a time.
Adult Swim, which often parodies regular TV formats, made its debut in the US in 2001 and has been rolled out, both on and off air, in Russia, the UK, Germany, Spain, Israel, the Nordics, Belgium and South Africa.
Tvigle has a regular monthly audience of over 7 million in Russia.
