The organisers of the ANGA Cable Show have announced that exhibitors can now register for the 2011 edition of the event. Next year, the show will take place on May 3 – 5, 2011 in Cologne, Germany.
Dr. Peter Charissé, MD of ANGA Cable, said in a statement: “Also next year, we would like to expand our leading role in Europe. Therefore we use our advantage and combine the high percentage of international trade visitors with the domestic market of 40 million households. The switch-off of the analogue satellite transmission of the German TV channels in April 2012 will create an additional growth in sales for manufacturers of reception technology and set top boxes next year. ANGA Cable Show offers the best possibility to take part in this unique opportunity.“
The application forms are available on the ANGA Cable website. The organisation recommends early booking, “As the exhibition hall was always fully booked over the past years, a registration is recommended until the end of October.”
In 2010, 395 international exhibitors from 31 countries were present and for the first time more than 15,000 trade visitors attended the show. This signifies a 10 % visitor growth compared to 2009. 43 % of the visitors travelled to Cologne from abroad, this underlines the high internationality of the event.
In 2011, key topics of the show and the congress are Next Generation Access Networks, interactive TV, hybrid TV, HDTV, VOD, 3D TV, analogue switch-off and smart home.
ANGA Cable is organized by the Association of German Cable Operators (ANGA) and supported by ZVEI (Satellite & Cable).
