IBC 2010 – Hall 10, Stand D21. EBU 3D-TV Study Group chairman Andy Quested is to lead a tour around the RAI centre designed to showcase a number of companies that are active in 3DTV.
At the same time the IRT’s Larissa Görner (chair DFXP Group) is guiding a number of visits to subtitling companies, mostly sticking to 2D broadcasts.
The EBU says the purpose of the BBC man’s company visits is to help members make decisions about 3D and to inform them of the current state of acquisition, post and delivery technologies.
The tour is open to all members of the EBU.
