The Ukrainian DTH platform Poverkhnost Plus appears to have run into difficulties ahead of a possible change in ownership.
According to Satkurier, its signal, which is distributed by Eutelsat W4 at 36 degrees East, became unavailable to subscribers this Tuesday (August 16).
An announcement on the company’s website told them they would not be charged for this month and that they would be kept informed about developments.
Unofficial reports say that Poverkhnost Plus has run into financial difficulties and may soon find a new (Russian) owner.
The platform, which was launched in May 2008 and is backed by the Poverkhnost Group, operates in a DTH market also served by Viasat Ukraine, MYtv and Russia’s NTV-Plus.
