IBC 2010 – Hall 1, Stand B10. Kaonmedia is to showcase a set-top box based on the Google Android system. The IP receiver is part of a hybrid home entertainment solution that combines the delivery of over-the-top video content with value added home networking services. Also included is a web browser and access to Google Maps and YouTube.
The South Korean manufacturer has taken out its largest-ever stand at IBC. Other combinations include a hybrid DVB-C/IP receiver, CAS/DRM embedded, the ANT browser and Oregan middleware.
