August 13, 2010 10.26 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Universal Networks International (UNI) plans to replace Hallmark Channel with 13th Street Universal in Poland this September.

The news was confirmed by Colin McLeod, MD, Central and Eastern Europe, UNI in an interview with Wirtualne Media. In it, he also said that 13th Street Universal would carry a number of programmes not previously shown in Poland.

13th Street Universal will make its debut on September 13 and has already secured carriage on the DTH platform Cyfra+, as well as through several leading cable operators including UPC, Vectra, Multimedia Polska and Toya.
