Finnish cablenet Welho officially became a part of DNA on July 1, previous owners Sanoma recording a non-recurring capital gain of €179.4 million.
The figures added another 322,000 cable TV subscribers to DNA, bringing the combined total to 596,000. The Welho figure includes 163,000 pay subscribers, up from 157,000 on end-June 2009. DNA now has a TV market share of 43%.
DNA also benefitted from 115,000 broadband subscribers, registering 290,000 in total.
225 personnel transferred to DNA from Welho following the purchase that made Samoma the second largest DNA shareholder with 21%.
