One year after its launch the Italian free-to-air satellite platform TivuSat is close to reaching 500,000 homes.
As of July 31, 2009 the Mediaset-RAI-Telecom Italia operation had 475,000 households hooked up to the 50-channel package delivered from the Eutelsat Hotbird neighbourhood.
In February the number of cards actually activated stood at 150,000, against 790,000 cards that had entered the retail supply chain.
