A new satellite delivered channel named CSB TV has made its debut in Poland.
Speaking to Wirtualne Media, Adam Chmielecki, a representative of the channel’s operator Media Kaszëbë, said that the service, which is currently transmitting on a trial basis, would start live broadcasts from the middle of this month and produce five hours of its own programming daily from September.
CSB TV is being distributed by Hot Bird at 13 degrees East and can be received with Cyfrowy Polsat decoders. It is aimed principally at the Kasubian minority living in the north of the country and will carry programming in both the Kasubian language and Polish.
Media Kaszëbë is co-operating with the Silesia-based regional station TVS.
