IBC 2010 – Hall 1, Stand A.51. Viaccess will be showcasing its new generation of pay-TV smart cards, adding the latest advanced features to the existing Viaccess toolbox. The France Telecom-owned company will show how it can guard against the latest forms of control word piracy over satellite and internet-based networks.
Reinforcing its next generation anti-piracy strategy, the company will demonstrate the mechanisms within its new generation of smart cards which enable operators to counter the increased security risk caused by the latest forms of piracy.
Viaccess will also showcase solutions to protect and enhance the value of content services, such as its best of breed hybrid security pre-integrated with the middleware and content recommendation from Orca, its fully owned subsidiary. Other solutions on display include security renewability over broadcast and broadband networks, CI Plus technology designed for IDTVs and connected TVs and shared PVR.
