The Lithuanian incumbent telco TEO LT ended June with 114,100 subscribers to its TV services, or almost 33% more than 12 months earlier.
Its broadband internet subscriber total meanwhile rose by 7.6% year-on-year to 326,900. TEO LT’s consolidated revenues in H1 2010 amounted to LTL387 million (€110.5 million), compared to LTL408.9 million in the corresponding period last year. TEO LT’s net profit was LTL83.6 million (LTL91.9 million) and EBITDA LTL159.6 million (LTL190 million).
Voice telephony accounted for 54.8% of the company’s revenues in H1 2010, followed by 33.4% for internet and data communications, 4.6% for TV, 4.1% for IT and 3.1% for other services.
Data published by the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) meanwhile shows that TEO’s shares of the Lithuanian digital TV and internet access markets in terms of revenues in Q1 2010 were 39.9% and 39.8% respectively.
TEO LT operates both IPTV and DTT services using the brand name Gala.
