Teleshopping channel Ideal Shopping Direct has confirmed newspaper reports that it is considering a sale of the business.
“The Board confirms that it intends to undertake a review of its strategic options, which could include a sale of the Company,” read a short statement issued by the company on Monday.
The Sunday Times had reported that owners Paul Wright and Val Kaye were looking to sell their 35% stake in the Peterborough-based company.
Ideal Shopping made its first venture into TV in 2000, the same year that it floated on the Alternative Investment Market. It currently runs four homeshopping channels: Ideal World, Ideal Extra, Create and Craft and Ideal & More.
