Miroslaw Smyk is no longer with Romtelecom, where he was general manager of the company’s TV Business Division.
ZF reports that Romtelecom has confirmed Smyk’s departure without providing any further details. It also says that the company has launched an international recruitment process to find a replacement for Smyk.
Smyk oversaw a huge expansion in Romtelecom’s TV business, which now includes not only the highly successful DTH platform Dolce but also IPTV (Dolce Interactiv) and cable (Next Gen) interests.
