Latens is to open a new R&D centre in Hyderabad, India, reflecting the pay-TV security company’s continuing growth in Asia. Belfast-based Latens has recently secured client and partner deals from the region including IndieonTechnologies and GoDB Tech. The new operation allows for future growth of the R&D team in Asia as the company looks to build a regional hub for its software development.
“Since opening the R&D Centre in Hyderabad in early 2009 Latens has continued to expand the offices and workforce, building on our existing successful team,” added Mark Crum, Latens Head of India Operations. He added, “The R&D Centre has been instrumental in designing and developing unique CAS and Middleware software-only solutions for leading global Pay TV operators.”
Latens’ global client base has been recognised through The Queen’s Award for Enterprise and the Deloitte Fast 500 technology award for the EMEA region.
