AETN UK has announced that History HD has launched on the network of Maltese operator, Melita PLC. The total number of HD channels on the cable network is now 11.
Christina Foley, commercial director, AETN UK, said in a statement, “Melita’s expansion and commitment to providing high quality channels in vivid high definition makes this developing partnership a great match.”
“Melita’s strategy to remain the leaders in the market, be the first to launch exciting new services and offer the widest choice of quality channels, fits in perfectly with the addition of HISTORY HD and its quality programming,” said Ivor Micallef, TV product manager, Melita plc. “Melita now offers 160 channels including 11 HD channels which are planned to increase by the end of the year.”
